In collaboration with the Fomos Project, MakersFox designed an intuitive and user-centric UI/UX interface aimed at supporting new mothers in preventing postnatal depression. As part of a university grant initiative, Fomos focused on the core pillars of Food, Move, and Sleep, addressing essential health factors for new moms. Their slogan, “Because healthy and happy mums equal healthy and happy babies,” was the driving inspiration behind every design element, ensuring a platform that truly resonates with its audience.

Our design approach prioritized a neutral color palette, creating a calming and inclusive atmosphere for users. Shades of beige, soft greys, and muted tones were carefully chosen to reduce stress and enhance usability, allowing mothers to interact with the platform in a tranquil and welcoming digital space. This minimalistic color scheme not only aligned with the project’s nurturing theme but also ensured a distraction-free interface for accessing vital health information.

The UI/UX elements were strategically designed to highlight important numbers and data, empowering users with actionable insights. Visual infographics, progress trackers, and clear callouts for metrics such as sleep hours, nutritional intake, and physical activity were seamlessly integrated into the layout. The goal was to present complex health data in an easy-to-digest format, ensuring moms could quickly identify areas for improvement without feeling overwhelmed.

This collaboration with Fomos showcased MakersFox’s ability to craft purposeful and engaging UI/UX designs that cater to unique audiences. By blending functionality with aesthetic appeal, the Fomos platform became a vital tool for supporting new mothers in their journey toward health and happiness. The project highlights our expertise in creating solutions that are not just visually appealing but also deeply meaningful and impactful for their users.
